A quick update from HeadRoom Labs, we’ve posted our in depth measurements of the new Audeze LCD-X and Audeze LCD-XC. If you’re wondering how the new models might compare to older models have a look at our build a graph tool. Headphone measurements can be hard to interpret but we hear some pretty important differences. As you can see from the graph below, Audeze’s top of the line headphones measure relatively close to one another. While audio measurements are important to us, they don’t tell us everything about how a headphone will sound. Here at HeadRoom we like to get some good quality listening time in before geeking out on the frequency response and total harmonic distortion but eventually we get around to it. Our immediate impression of the new Audeze LCD-X and LCD-XC is that they’ve been working hard at perfecting the art of headphone design. Well done Audeze and thank you.
